Jefferson trained firstly in Durham then left the north east in 2001 to join the team at the renowned Dorchester hotel where he worked for three years under Henry Brosi.
Living in Brazil for a year, his claim to fame was making the world's biggest Battenberg cake for the TV program Monster Munchies, which was aired on the Good Food channel. He commented on his new position: "I'm really looking forward to my new role at Hilton London Heathrow Airport and injecting some of my creativity into Aromi restaurant. It's a great opportunity to build on an already successful hotel and continue on my culinary journey.
