GAETANO MEROLA

Gaetano is an ambitious bartender, who still is eager to learn new about his profession. Being a bartender is not just a job for him, it is his passion.

Gaetano is 32 years old and of Italian origin. He worked for over 10 years in Italy before moving to the Netherlands. When he was still in school, he studied the preparation, vinification and aging of wines; learning about the flavours, aromas and general characteristics.

After that he studied at Bartender school in Napoli, Italy where he gained knowledge about the theory and basic techniques for the preparation of cocktails and the basic bartender skills. Currently he is working at SkyLounge at DoubleTree by Hilton Amsterdam Centraal Station where he can express his creativity and enthusiasm for bartending.
